Vision
Our vision is to optimize support for people in need during natural disasters or pandemics for emergencies, rescue, relief, rehabilitation, etc.
Objective
The objective is to make sure that any distress call during an emergency is addressed in minimal time with minimum efforts through a volunteering process. Any call for support such as medical assistance (Life saving medicines, Oxygen, Beds, ICU Assistance), transportation (Ambulance, Transport of Medicines or devices), Doctors Consulting & Counselling, Rescue, Relief should be managed with precision. A crowd sourced transparent process will avoid common challenges in disaster zones like under delivery, over supply, delays, pilferage, black market and reduces stress on govt infrastructures & Systems.
We have conceived and deployed a platform designed to work as a tool to maximize the efficiency of disaster management.
The problem:
During situations like a pandemic, heavy load on the medical system or govt infrastructure of a country can lead to its collapse. This happens due to the deficiency of manpower and other resources.
Solution:
The deficiency of manpower and resources can be solved by allowing the general public to contribute. Every task to be completed can be broken down and divided among various volunteers to take up. The allocation of tasks and its delivery is tracked and optimized so that it can be made sure that the task is successfully completed.
We have successfully used this model for Rescue and Relief in disaster-hit (flood) zones in the past and handled the needs of more than 36000 plus people. The model is highly scalable with technology-backed processes for coordinating crowd sourced information and man power.
We are working towards a scenario where any person who reaches out to help will feel assured that someone will work to meet their needs. The capability to develop an environment that can meet genuine requirements in times of challenges for free is the mission of the process/platform.
The platform will remain free and accessible to all and we have many thought processes which will revolutionize the traditional methods of disaster management which many times lack transparency, and has gaps in the processes leading to losses between donors and the deserving in rescue/donations/relief/rehab processes.
We believe that by optimizing the processes:
- The current amount of donations can address the needs of more people because of optimization.
- With transparency, much more support will be available from the common public, which will ensure that even more people in need are supported.
We envision happier, better equipped and more integrated social structures, as the outcome.
